About Us

Rory Cameron-Smith Architects is a niche architectural practice based in Noordhoek, in the Deep South of Cape Town, South Africa. The practice specializes in both Residential and Commercial developments of all scales and takes projects from inception, concept, and detail design, including full 3D presentations, to local Council submission authority plan approvals and construction. This includes setting up and appointing building contractors, monitoring and supervising onsite work to project completion and handover.

Rory has extensive experience in both traditional and contemporary style residential architecture in all areas of the Western Cape and enjoys working closely with clients, consultants, and appointed contractors. The office liaises directly with the local authority regarding the council and provincial bye-laws, including heritage and environmental applications.

The practice aims to supply clients with a stress-free experience while developing designs that will meet all their requirements in terms of budget, programming, and overall aesthetic appeal and joy to live in!

Rory is a control architect for several estates and is familiar with strict design-controlled environments, regulations, and processes that accompany such applications.
